About fragrance dupes

A bottle of Creed Aventus is $445. Baccarat Rouge 540 is $325. The fragrance world has quietly built an entire economy of clones — Armaf, Lattafa, Dossier, ALT Fragrances — that recreate the same accords for $25 to $50. The problem is matching them: which clone actually smells like the original, and which just shares one note. The Fragrance Dupe Finder centralizes that, rating each clone on how close it really gets — closest, close, or just in the ballpark.

Honesty first: a clone is an "inspired by" creation, not the original, and raw materials differ — so opening, longevity, and projection vary. We only call a match "closest" when the community consensus is overwhelming (Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Man for Aventus, for example). Dossier matches are the brand's own stated inspirations.
